Cómo configurar el horno para asar a la parrilla

Si la carne tiene grasa o cartílago en los bordes, corte tajadas verticales con 2″ de diferencia. Si lo desea, la grasa puede reducirse, dejando una capa de aproximadamente 1/8″ de espesor.

Coloque la carne o el pescado en la asadera y la rejilla. Siempre use la rejilla para que la grasa caiga dentro de la asadera, de lo contrario, los jugos pueden calentarse demasiado y prenderse fuego.

Coloque la parrilla en el horno.

Cierre la puerta. Siempre ase con la puerta cerrada.

Gire la perilla de modo del horno a DUAL BROIL (Asar a la parrilla con dos posicoines) (para grandes cantidades de alimentos) o a STD BROIL (Asar a

la parrilla estándar) (para pequeñas cantidades de alimentos).

Gire la perilla de temperatura a LOW BROIL (Asar a la parrilla a temperatura baja) o HIGH BROIL (Asar a la parrilla a temperatura alta). La temperatura para asar a la parrilla se configurará automáticamente. Aparecerá LO (Bajo) o HI (Alto) en la pantalla dependiendo de la temperatura automática para asar seleccionada.

El horno y las luces interiores

del mismo se encenderán de inmediato y permanecerán encendidas hasta que se apague el horno.

Cuando termine de asar a la parrilla, gire la perilla de modo y la perilla de temperatura a la posición OFF (Apagado).

NOTA: se encenderá un ventilador de refrigeración para enfriar las partes internas. Esto es normal. Además, es posible que

el ventilador siga funcionando, incluso, luego de que se apague el horno.

Cierre la puerta. Siempre ase a la parrilla con la puerta

cerrada.

La asadera no necesita ser precalentada en la mayoría de los casos. Sin embargo, los alimentos que se cocinan rápido, como tiras finas de carne, pueden requerir

un período corto de precalentamiento de 2 a 3 minutos para permitir que la superficie de los alimentos se dore en la misma cantidad de tiempo que los alimentos necesitan para cocinarse por completo.

Gire los alimentos una sola vez durante el asado a la parrilla.

NOTA: el asado a la parrilla no funcionará si la sonda de temperatura está enchufada. Nunca deje la sonda dentro del horno durante un ciclo de asado a la parrilla.
