1 Connect VCR to Audio Receiver
Connect an RCA cable from the Audio Output on the back of the VCR to one of the Auxiliary Inputs on your audio receiver or TV. If your television has a video input, you can also connect it to the VCR’s Video Output with an RCA cable.

2 Set Audio Receiver to Aux
Set your audio receiver or television to “Aux” or “Tape,” whichever selects the line input for your particular device.
3 Play a Tape
Insert a videotape in your VCR and adjust the volume on your audio receiver or television. You should hear the audio through your speakers.
