A. Pipe Clearances to Combustibles

WARNING

Fire Risk. Explosion Risk.

Maintain vent clearance to combustibles as speciﬁed.

• Do not pack air space with insulation or other materials.

•National building codes recommend using attic shield to keep loose materials/insulation from contacting vent.

Failure to keep insulation or other materials away from vent pipe may cause ﬁre.

Use B-vent manufacturer’s ﬁrestops to provide adequate clearances.
