Selecting a print quality

Follow these steps to select a print quality from the printer software:

1Open the Print dialog box.

2Select the Paper Type/Quality panel.

3Select one of the following settings from the Print Quality drop-down list:

–Use printer default: Print in the Normal mode.

–FastDraft: Print at the fastest printing speed.

–Fast normal: Print more quickly than the Normal mode and at a higher print quality than FastDraft.

–Normal: Create the best balance between print quality and speed. This is the appropriate setting for most documents.

–Best: Produce high-quality printing.

–Maximum dpi: Produce the highest quality printing. This setting requires more time to print than Best and requires a large amount of disk space.
