Option Modules

 

 

1xSerial Interface Module

The 1xSerial Interface Module (see Figure 11) is user-configurable to be either a V.35 or an X.21 (V.11) interface. This module supports rates up to a maximum of 10 Mbps. An additional V.35 or X.21 cable is required (see Note, below). Refer to Table A-7 on page 45 for the Serial connector pinouts, and to Table A-12 on page 47 for the backup connector pinouts. An optional backup module is required for backup applications.

Caution

Cable length for the Serial Interface Module should not exceed 25 feet.
