8xT1/E1 Wide Module

The 8xT1/E1 Wide Module (see Figure 16) provides eight T1/E1 WAN interfaces. Refer to Table A-3 on page 44 for the T1 interface pinouts. Refer to Table A-4 on page 44 for the E1 interface pinouts.

Note

A dip-switch on the circuit board selects either T1 or E1 operation. All 8 ports are either

•Framing: FAS/NFAS with optional CRC-4

•FE1 Line Rate: Channelized timeslot

•Input Signal: 0 to -30 dB (DS1) on all E1 interfaces (1 through 8)
