6Remove the screw (A) on each side of the diskette drive.

NOTE: The second screw (A) is on the other side of the drive cage (not pictured).

7Pull the diskette drive out.

To install a new diskette drive:

1Slide the diskette drive into the drive cage, until the two screw holes align.

2Attach the screws on each side of the drive cage.

To reassemble the computer:

1Replace the drive cage (see “replacing the drive cage” on page 141).

2Reattach the cables to the back of the hard and diskette drives.

3Replace the side panel (see “replacing the side panel” on page 144).

4Reconnect the power cord and all other cables.

5Reconnect the modem/telephone cable.

6Turn on the computer and all peripherals.
