∙A bar code, followed by the return key. Choices are uppercase A through R, except for P (Postnet). For bar codes that include the human-readable interpretation line, or lowercase a through r for bar codes without human-readable lines, see Appendix C for examples of each available bar code.

∙X is a special font choice that is not actually a font. The X font selects box and line drawing. Later, in the data/prompt position, the format for lines or boxes must be entered .

∙Y is another special font choice that is not actually a font. The Y font selects a graphic image that has already been loaded into the memory module. If this font is selected, enter the name of the graphic image in the data/prompt position. This name must be uppercase characters when printing an image.

If any letter or number is entered in the FNT position other than those specified above, the ‘Invalid Font Type’ message will appear.

You will need to re-enter the data. After entering the desired font and pressing the return key, the cursor will move to the XW position.
