Removal and Replacement Procedures
5.21 TouchPad
✎The TouchPad and bracket are included with the top cover, spare part number
1.Prepare the notebook for disassembly (refer to Section 5.3) and remove the following components:
❏Keyboard (refer to Section 5.9)
❏LED switch cover (refer to Section 5.15)
❏Display assembly (refer to Section 5.18)
❏Top cover (refer to Section 5.19)
❏Speaker (refer to Section 5.20)
2.Remove the three Torx T8M2.0×3.5 screws 1 that secure the TouchPad and bracket to the top cover.
3.Lift the left side of the bracket 2, then slide the bracket to the left.
