Adjusting the Printer

Adjusting Tray Registration

You can adjust the registration of each tray. The vertical adjustment is used for all trays. Normally, you need not update the registration. But when the optional paper feed unit or the duplex unit is installed, updating is useful in some cases.

A Press the {Menu} key.

B Select [Maintenance] using {T} or {U}, and then press the {qEnter} key.

C Select [Registration] using {T} or {U}, and then press the {qEnter} key.D Select [Prt. Test Sheet] using {T} or {U}, and then press the {qEnter} key.

E Select the tray you want to adjust using {T} or {U}, and then press the {q Enter} key.

Print the test sheet to preview the settings.
