bChange the access permission of the Recovery Manager utilities as follows:

#chmod 550 /opt/3par/vcdbaora

4If the /etc/3par/solutions/<primary_host>.ora.<oracle_sid> directory exists, you must also change the owner and permission as follows:

#chown -R <user>:<group> /etc/3par/solutions/ <primary_host>.ora.<oracle_sid>

To remove 3PAR Recovery Manager from a Solaris system:

1Log in as the root user.

2Use the pkgrm command as follows:

#pkgrm VCDBAora
