4.9.1.2Creating a Recovery Manager Configuration File using the GUI on the Backup Host

To use the Recovery Manager GUI to create a Recovery Manager configuration file without Remote Copy support:

1Start the Recovery Manager GUI on the backup host.

a Ensure the X11 server is running on the destination host where the GUI is displayed. If the X11 server is not running, issue the following command:

<backup host># xhost +

bEnsure the DISPLAY environment variable is set.

<backup host># echo $DISPLAY

cStart the Recovery Manager GUI.

<backup host># /opt/3par/vcdbaora/bin/vcdbagui
