Using Bluetooth wireless devices

A Bluetooth device provides short-range wireless communications that replace the physical cable connections that traditionally link electronic devices such as the following:

Computers (desktop, notebook, PDA)

Phones (cellular, cordless, smart phone)

Imaging devices (printer, camera)

Audio devices (headset, speakers)

Mouse

External keyboard

Bluetooth devices provide peer-to-peer capability that allows you to set up a personal area network (PAN) of Bluetooth devices. For information about configuring and using Bluetooth devices, see the Bluetooth software Help.

Using the Wireless Dock (WiDock)

The HP Wireless Dock (WiDock) allows the computer to connect via its WiGig connection to devices that are attached to the dock, such as keyboards, monitors and other displays, and wired network connections.

NOTE: The WiDock and the device it is connecting to must be aligned. Do not place the WiDock behind any other device that might block its signal.

For more information about using the WiDock, see the wireless dock user guide.
