Status Indicators

The system status LED indicators show the current com-

puter status. The following shows the location of each indi- cator symbol and the meaning of each indicator.

Enough

operation.

Blinking

The

battery

pack

needs

orange

to

be

charged

Orange

The

battery

pack

is

being

charged.

Suspend

Green

The

computer

is

in

mode

suspend

mode.

Blinking

The

computer

is

entering

green

suspend

mode.

Drive

in

useOrange

Data

is

being

read

from

or written to the hard

disk

drive,

diskette

drive,

or data is being read

from

the CD-ROM drive.

Do

not

enter

hibernation

mode or power off the

computer when this indi-

cator

is

on.

Numeric

lock

Green

The

numeric

keypad

on

the

keyboard

is

enabled.

You

enable

or

disable

the

keypad

by

pressing

and

holding

Shiftthe

key,

and

pressing

the

NumLk

key.
