RESTRIcr RIGH'IS allows an operation to restrict its access to an object by altering, under control of an unprotected descriptor control object, the access descriptor for that object to have either restricted rights or restricted rights and restricted descriptor control. The first operand contains the object selector for an access descriptor for the given object. The second operand is an unprotected descriptor control object. The resultant new access descriptor overwrites the original access descriptor for the given object. Thus, the destination access segment entry is the same as the source access segment entry.
