Initial Computations

o Adjusted Object Length = Object Length - Base Displacement

oVisible Object Length = Minimum (Adjusted Object Length, Byte Count) for block mode operation.

oVisible Object Length = Minimum (Adjusted Object Length, Subrange Size) for randan mode operation.

o Physical Base Address = Base Address + Base Displacement

oDuring block transfers in logical mode (window 0 only), the h¥te oount must be less than the Visible Object Length.

Constraints During Data Transfer

oTransfer Displacement must be less than the Visible Object Length

oPhysical Base Address + Transfer Displacement must be less than 22]1-1
