Objectives

This guide describes how to configure and use the software on the EX2500

Ethernet Switch.

NOTE: This guide documents Release 3.0 of the EX2500 Ethernet Switch. For additional information—either corrections to or information that might have been omitted from this manual—see the EX2500 Ethernet Switch 3.0 Release Notes at http://www.juniper.net/.

Audience

This guide is intended for network installers and system administrators engaged in configuring and maintaining a network. Administrators must be familiar with Ethernet concepts, IP addressing, the IEEE 802.1D Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), and SNMP configuration.

Supported Platforms

The features described in this guide are supported by only the EX2500 software running on EX2500 Ethernet Switches only.
