To select the voice navigation language — VOICE LANG
When the voice control unit is connected to the receiver, you can select the language used for the voice navigation in the voice command registration process. When this unit is shipped from the factory, “English” is selected.
• English: | English navigation will be heard while registering your voice commands into |
| the system. |
• German: | German navigation will be heard while registering your voice commands into |
| the system. |
• French: | French navigation will be heard while registering your voice commands into the |
| system. |
•Spanish: Spanish navigation will be heard while registering your voice commands into the system.
Note:
If “VOICE/BEEP” is set to “BEEP,” you cannot hear the voice navigation. (See below.)
To select the voice navigation or beep sound — VOICE/BEEP
When the voice control unit is connected to the receiver, you can select either the voice navigation (see above) or the confirmation beep, which is heard in response to the given commands. When this unit is shipped from the factory, “VOICE” is selected.
• VOICE: | English, German, French, or Spanish navigation (selected in “To select the |
| voice navigation language — VOICE LANG” above) will be heard in response |
| to the given commands. |
• BEEP: | Confirmation beep sound will be heard in response to the given commands. |
To activate the voice demo — VOICE DEMO
When the voice control unit is connected to the receiver, you can see how theVoice Recognition System works. You can only use the Operation Commands (in the Standard Word mode). For the words you speak (in English), see the lists on pages 32 and 45. When this unit is shipped from the factory, “DEMO OFF” is selected.
•DEMO ON: The voice demo is activated. By speaking the words in English, you can try the Voice Recognition System.
•DEMO OFF:The voice demo is deactivated.
To adjust the voice navigation volume — VOICE VOL
When the voice control unit is connected to the receiver, you can adjust the voice navigation volume level (00 – 50).
When shipped from the factory, the voice navigation volume level is set at level 15.
