Installing Alkaline Batteries

To use alkaline batteries, follow these steps:

1Make sure that the power switch of the CD-ROM drive is off.

2Open the battery cover by gently pushing the two protruding clips as shown.

Attention

Do not combine new and used batteries.

3Install six alkaline AA batteries into the battery compartment with their polarities facing as shown.
