Using the Bluetooth Settings Menu

The Bluetooth Settingsmenu allows you to setup many of the

characteristics of your phone’s Bluetooth service, including:

䢇Entering or changing the name your phone uses for

Bluetooth communication.

䢇Setting your phone’s visibility (or “discoverability”) for

other Bluetooth devices.

䢇Displaying your phone’s Bluetooth address.

To access the Bluetooth Settings menu:

1. SelectMenu > Settings > Bluetooth.

2. Use the navigation key to selectVisibility or Bluetooth

Info, and press .

Bluetooth Settings: My Bluetooth Name

The My Bluetooth Namesection of the Bluetooth Settings

menu allows you to selecta Bluetooth name for your phone.

Your phone’s Bluetooth name will appear to other in-range

Bluetooth devices, depending on your visibility settings.

To seta Bluetooth name for your phone:

1. SelectMenu > Settings > Bluetooth > Bluetooth Info.

2. SelectRename (left softkey).

3. Press to clear the current name.

4. Use your keypad to enter a new name and press to

save and exit.
