Phone Setup Options

Shortcuts

Your phone offers you the option of assigning a shortcutkey
to a favorite or often-used function. Pressing the navigation
key to the leftin standby mode will launch your personally
designated shortcut.
To assign your shortcutkey:
1. SelectMenu > Settings > Setup/Others > Shortcuts. (An
information window is displayed.)
2. Read the information and press .
3. SelectLeft Navigation, RightNavigation, Up Navigation, or
Down Navigationand press .
4. Using the navigation key or your keypad, selectthe
desired shortcutand press .
5. Press to return to standby mode.

Call Answer Mode

You can determine how to answer incoming calls on your
phone, whether only by pressing , by pressing any number
key, or simply by opening the phone.
To setcall answer mode:
1. SelectMenu > Settings > Setup/Others > Answer Call.
2. To selectan option, highlightit and press .
䡲Flip Open / Any Keyto allow an incoming call to be
answered by opening the phone or by pressing
any key.
䡲TALK Onlyto require to be pressed to answer all
incoming calls.
