SETUP MENU (CONTINUED)

PARENTAL SETUP MENU:

To enter the Parental Setup menu, while no disc is inserted or disc is in the Stop mode, if not already at the Setup screen press the HOME/SETUP button, select Settings using the Navigation (π,) buttons and then press the Navigation (®) button. Select Parental using the Navigation (π,) buttons and then press the Navigation (®) button.

While in the Parental Setup menu, select Parental Control using the Navigation (π,) buttons 1, then press the Navigation (®) button 2 to enter.

At the Password pop-up screen, enter the four digit password using the Number buttons. The default password is “0000”, but it can be changed as per the instructions on the next page.

Select Parental Level using the Navigation (π,) buttons 1, then press the Navigation (®) button 2 to enter.

Using the Navigation (π,) buttons 1, select the desired rating level for the disc. Select OFF to permit all movies. For example, if you select “R”, discs that are level NC-17 and Adult will not play.

KID SAFE: Suitable for all children

G: General Audiences

PG: Parental Guidance suggested

PG-13: Parental Guidance for children under 13 years old

PG-R: Under 17 years old, Parental Guidance suggested

R:Under 17 years old, Parental Guidance strongly suggested NC-17: 17 years and older

ADULT: Adults only

When done, press the ENTER button 3.

NOTE: Not all Blu-ray discs respect the Parental Control setting that is implemented in the Player. For example, some R-rated movies may play even though the Parental Controls are set to permit only G- or lower-rated movies. This is a choice made by the manufacturer that created the Blu-ray disc itself and does not reflect an incorrect setting in the Player.
