(1)Serial Port Selection

interface ports, and Serial#3 is a RS422/RS485 interface port.

(2)Select Attached Device

Administrator selects a communication protocol that an attached external de- vice satisfies among listed protocols.

Manual Setting

If you can’t find protocol for your external device in the list, you can define the protocol by select- ing “manual setting” and setting values to control parameters and pan/tilt/zoom commands. For de- tailed information, refer to the “PTZ Command for Manual Script” explained at the next page.

Although this machine is equipped with two or more communication protocols which con- trol pan/tilt/zoom cameras of other companies, operation to all the cameras of other com- panies and Pan/tilt/zoom operation are not guaranteed. In addition, it has not answered the inquiry about combination with the camera etc. of other companies.

(3) Control Parameters

You can also set control parameters such as “Baud Rate”, “Stop Bits”, “Data Bits”, and “Parity Check” according to the setting of the connected digital recorder or external camera.
