4. Adjustment software, “Wallaby” 4.1. General

“Wallaby” is a software program that can adjust a display wall through RS-232 format communication. Up to 64 cubes in a display wall can be controlled separately according to the allocated ID numbers.

This software works with Microsoft® Windows® 95, Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows NT® Version4.0, Windows 2000 and Windows XP. It is recommended to use Windows NT Version4.0, Windows 2000 or later.

4.2. Installation

4.2.1.Software Installation

1.Insert the set-up disk or copy the set-up files into a control PC and double-click the Setup.exe.

2.Follow its installation messages until finish.

4.2.2.Connecting

Connect the Wallaby-installed PC to the master cube with a commercially available RS-232 cross cable. Make sure that each cube in the display wall is connected with supplied control cables. (Refer to chapter1.3, on page 23.)

4.2.3.Dipswitch setting

Make sure that the dipswitches of the cubes are set correctly. (chapter 1.4.2, on page 28.)

4.2.4.Starting the application

Execute the “Wallaby” for suitable models in Windows® start menu.

4.3. Initial set-up

4.3.1.Model selecting

Click “Model Select” in “System Config” menu to select suitable model range to be controlled. When you execute the application from the appropriate Windows® start menu, this operation is not necessary.
