Changing the Backlight Time Length

Select how long the display screen remains backlit after a keypress is made.

1.Press Menu >Settings/Tools>Settings>Display> MainDisplay>LightControl>Backlight> ScreenBacklight.

2.Select AlwaysOn, 10sec, 30sec, or 50sec, or Dim Only.

Toadjustthebacklightdurationtimefortheexternaldisplay:

Press Menu>Settings/Tools>Settings>Display> ExternalDisplay>Backlight.

Note

Setting long backlight durations affects the life of the

 

battery.

 

 

Keypad Light Sensor

Set your keypad to light up only when necessary, based on ambient light conditions, or to stay lit whenever you are using your phone.

1.Press Menu >Settings/Tools>Settings>Display> MainDisplay>LightControl>Backlight> KeypadBacklight.

2.Select Off, 10sec, 30sec, 50sec, or AlwaysOn.

Tosetyourkeypadtolightupbasedonambientlight conditions:

1.Press Menu >Settings/Tools>Settings>Display> MainDisplay>LightControl>KeypadLightSensor.

2.Select On.

Changing the Phone’s Menu Style

Choose how your phone's menu appears on your display screen.

1.With the main menu displayed, press Options (right softkey).

2.Select GridMenu, ListMenu,or TabMenu, and then press S.

GridMenu to display the menu as icons only.

ListMenu to display the menu as a list of icons and names.

TabMenu to display only a selected menu option, with the remaining icons displayed as tabs.
