Using Automatic Speech

Recognition (ASR)

You can use your phone’s built-in automatic speech recognition (ASR) software to dial a phone number in your Contacts or to launch phone functions. All you have to do is to talk into the phone, and ASR will recognize your voice and complete tasks by itself.

Calling Contacts Entries

1.Press and hold N.

2.Say “Call” and then say the name and label for the number you wish to call. For example, say “Call JohnMobile.” The phone dials the number stored for the contact “John” with the label “Mobile.”

If the location recognized or the name does not have a number stored in Contacts, your phone will play the message “Nomatchfound,” and then return you to the previous screen.

If a name has only a single number, or if you know the name but are not sure which number to call, say “Call” followed by the name only. For example, say “CallJohn.”
