1.Press Menu>Settings/Tools>Settings>More...> Securityand enter your lock code.

2.Select LockMyPhone.

3.Highlight LockNow and press S.(To set your phone lock the next time it is turned on, select LockonPowerUp. To set your phone to lock after a specified amount of time, select After5minutes, After15minutes, or After60minutes.)

Unlocking Your Phone

1.From standby mode, press Unlock (left softkey).

2.Enter your lock code.

Changing the Lock Code

1.Press Menu>Settings/Tools>Settings>More...> Security and enter your lock code.

2.Select ChangeLockCode, and then enter and re- enter your new lock code.

Calling in Lock Mode

You can place calls to 911 and to your special numbers when in lock mode. (For information on

special numbers, see “Using Special Numbers” on page 50.)

To call an emergency number, special number, or

Sprint Customer Service, enter the phone number and press S.

Using Special Numbers

Special numbers are important numbers that you have designated as being “always available.” You can call and receive calls from special numbers even if your phone is locked.

You can save up to three special numbers. These numbers are stored separately from your Contacts entries, and the same numbers may appear in both your Contacts and your Special Numbers.

Toaddorreplaceaspecialnumber:

1.Press Menu>Settings/Tools>Settings>More...> Security and enter your lock code.

2.Select SpecialNumbers.

3.Select SpecialNumber1, SpecialNumber2, or Special Number3.
