PiN Pocket PC 300 Quick Start Guide

This Quick Start Guide will help you get started with your PiN Pocket PC.

Whether you travel in your own country or overseas, the PiN with Smart™ will direct you to your destination without the need for map books and second-hand instructions.

The Smart map provides street level detail for door-to-door navigation, including Points of Inter- est (POIs) such as accommodation, railway stations and airports.

Use this Quick Start Guide to install Smart for the first time.

Use the User’s Manual for information on operating your PiN Pocket PC.

Use the SmartS V3 for Pocket PC User Manual for information on operating Smart (see page 18).

Safety First

The PiN Pocket PC user is responsible for observing safe driving practices. It is their responsibility to read the vehicle mount installation instructions carefully.

Do not operate your PiN while driving.

Do not place your PiN in a position that obstructs the driver’s view, or interferes with the operation of air-bags or other vehicle safety equipment.

For security, and to avoid overheating, do not leave your PiN in strong sunlight while your vehicle is unattended.

Do not handle your PiN while it is hot — leave it to cool, away from heat sources.
