Check the network cable and hub connections.

Select the Enable FTP Client check box in Network Settings of the SETUP menu.

Even though the FTP send button is pressed, the timer icon keeps running (for about 1 minute) and no images are sent.

An FTP error results when sent to the FTP server.The Capture button is deactivated immediately after it is pressed.

This is because the IP address of the External Server that has been set in Network Settings of the SETUP menu cannot be found.

Check the IP address of the server one more time.

If images are sent across a gateway, specify the Gateway address.

Use the ping test function to confirm.

This is because the DS-L1 has not logged in to the FTP server.

Check that the User ID and Password on the DS-L1 side and the user account on the server side match.

Check settings on the server side to see if the FTP server function is active.

If images are sent across a gateway, specify the Gateway address.

Use the login test function to confirm whether logged in.

Images cannot be saved to the FTP server even though the DS-L1 is connected to it and no errors are displayed.
