Ask your network administrator to confirm the following points:
•Whether FTP can be used in the LAN (only if you wish to use the FTP function)
•Whether image files can be transferred across in the LAN
•How IP addresses are managed (if you wish to use a fixed IP address, whether its use is permitted, or, if you wish to have IP addresses, etc., automatically acquired, whether a DHCP server is available)
NOTE: When a fixed IP address is acquired, a subnet mask and a gateway address are also acquired. Note, however, that when you apply for an IP address, you may be requested to supply the MAC address of your product. The MAC address is shown in the lower right corner of the Network Settings screen of the SETUP menu.
