Using as external memory of the PC

In addition to its uses as an IC recorder and a music player, this recorder can also be used as external memory for a computer by storing data from a computer and reading it back out.

With the recorder connected to your PC, you can download data from the memory to your PC and upload data stored on your PC to the memory.

Windows

1Connecting the recorder to your PC ( P.80).

2Open the Explorer window.

3Open the product name folder.

When you open [My Computer], it will be recognized by the drive name of the product name.

Note

While transmitting data, [Busy] is displayed, and the recording indicator light %ashes. NEVER disconnect the USB while the recording indicator light is %ashing. If you do, the data will be destroyed.

4Copy the data.

5Disconnect the recorder from the PC ( P.81).

Macintosh

1Connecting the recorder to your PC ( P.80).

When you connect the recorder to a Mac OS, it will be recognized by the drive name of the product name on the desktop.

2Double-click the product name icon on the desktop.

3Copy the data.

4Disconnect the recorder from the PC ( P.81).
