Using USB

Checking audio output & volume control operation

For correct operation, check the Windows audio output and volume control settings as follows.

1Open the Multimedia control panel. The Multimedia Properties control panel opens.

2On the Audio panel, make sure that the “Preferred device” for Playback is set to USB Audio Device, as shown.

Windows 98/98SEWindows 2000/Me

3If you are using Windows 98/98SE, click the Playback button. If you are using Windows 2000/Me, click the Volume button.

The Volume Control opens, as shown.

4Set the Volume slider for each device to maximum, close the window, and then click OK to close the Multimedia control panel.
