DTS-ES Matrix*7				This mode is for use with DTS-ES Matrix	G V
				soundtracks, which use a matrix-

				encoded back-channel for 6.1/7.1-
				channel playback. Use it with DVDs that
				bear the DTS-ES logo, especially those
				with a DTS-ES Matrix soundtrack.
Dolby Pro Logic IIx*8				Dolby Pro Logic IIx expands any 2-
Dolby Pro Logic II				channel source for 7.1-channel
				playback. It provides a very natural and

				that fully envelops the listener. As well
	P L		M u s i c	as music and movies, video games can
				also benefit from the dramatic spatial

				If you’re not using any surround back	S XCN

				speakers, Dolby Pro Logic II will be
				used instead of Dolby Pro Logic IIx.

				especially those that bear the Dolby
				Pro Logic II logo.

These modes use the Dolby Pro Logic IIx modes to expand 5.1-channel sources for 7.1-channel playback.

			uses seven full-bandwidth channels of
			matrix decoding for matrix-encoded
			material, providing a very natural and
			seamless surround sound experience
			that fully envelops the listener.
