This can be used only when the OPERATION TYPE option in the SCENE FILE screen (page 100) is set to VIDEO CAM with the 1080i/60i, 720P/60P, and 480i/60i and 30P recording formats.
This function is used to start recording a certain number of seconds (approx. 3 seconds for
HD recordings or approx. 7 seconds for 480i recordings) before actual recording starts.
