Editing 5Copying between SD card
and HDD
Motion pictures and still pictures recorded with this unit can be copied between an SD card and HDD
inserted in this unit.
1Connect this unit to the AC
adaptor and set the mode dial to
.
≥If a battery is used, copying is not possible.
2Select the menu. (l29)
(When copying from HDD to SD card)
(When copying from SD card to HDD)
3Select the item and press the
cursor button.
[ALL SCENES]:
All scenes are copied at once. Proceed to step 7.
[SELECT SCENES]:
Some scenes are selected for copying.
[SELECT DATE]:
Dates are selected to copy scenes recorded on
those dates.

[SELECT DATE] is selected in step 3)
Select [VIDEO] or [PICTURE] and
press the cursor button.
5(Only when [SELECT SCENES] is selected
in step 3)
Select the scene/still picture to
be copied and press the cursor
button.
≥When the cursor button is pressed again, the
selected scene/still picture will be canceled.
≥Up to 99 scenes/still pictures can be set in
succession.
Copy after confirming remaining capacity on the copy destination.
≥Display the used space or the usable space on the HDD on the information display (l81) before
copying to confirm that space is available on the copy destination.
≥To copy data from an HDD to an SD card, use an SD card with sufficient space for copying data.
≥When scenes are divided (l76) and selectively copied, it is possible to copy only that which can
be accommodated in the usable space on an SD card, or copy the required portion only.
