Sending Faxes

Broadcast transmission!

This feature is useful for sending the same document often to selected parties (up to 20 stations). First program the stations, then see page 39 for transmission.

●The broadcast function utilizes ONE-TOUCH DIAL 1–3. The one-touch dial function will be canceled. ●BROADCAST key 1 and 2 can accept ONE-TOUCH DIAL and JOG DIAL entries. MANUAL BROAD

key can also accept manual dialing entries.

Programming the stations

1 Press DIRECTORY PROGRAM .

Display: PRESS STATION

Using the dial keypad (only for

MANUAL BROAD):

Enter the fax number and press SET .

Example:

OR USE JOG-DIAL

DIR=3456789

For BROADCAST 1–2:
Press the desired	BROADCAST	key.
	DIAL MODE
Rotate JOG DIAL			5
	to select “BROADCAST”.
Example:
	BROADCAST	1

DIR=3456789 [01]

●To enter other stations, repeat this step (up to 20 stations).

Press SET after programming all of the desired stations.

For MANUAL BROADCAST:

Press MANUAL BROAD .

DIAL MODE

Rotate JOG DIAL to select “MANUAL BROAD”.

MANUAL BROAD

Press SET .

DIR= [00]

Enter stations.

Using ONE-TOUCH DIAL 1–5:

Press the desired ONE-TOUCH DIAL key.

Example: DIR=ANN [01]

Using ONE-TOUCH DIAL 6–10:

Press LOWER , then press the desired ONE-TOUCH DIAL key.

Example:	DIR=Luke	[01]
Using JOG DIAL
	:
Display the desired name and press		SET .
Example:	John	[01]

●To program another broadcast key, repeat steps 2 to 5.

6 Press STOP to exit the program.

MANUAL BROAD

BROADCAST ONE-TOUCH

Display DIAL

SET

		DIRECTORY PROGRAM	STOP

Note:

● If you enter the wrong station, press STOP after step 4 to erase the station.

●Confirm the stored items by printing a broadcast programming list (p. 76).
