5. Fax

7Program items.

Using stations 2–11:

Press the desired station key.

Using stations 12–22:

Press {LOWER}, then press the desired station key.

Using navigator directory:

Press {A} or {B} repeatedly to display the desired item and press {SET}.

LTo program other items, repeat this step (up to 10 items).

8Press {SET}.

Note:

LIf you program the wrong item, press {STOP}

after step 7 to erase the item.

LIf you edit a stored item (page 19) in the broadcast memory, the programmed broadcast function will be cancelled. You must re-program.

Note:

L If you select “FINE”, “SUPER FINE” or “PHOTO” resolution, the number of pages that the unit can send will decrease.

LIf the document exceeds the memory capacity, sending will be cancelled.

LIf a party is busy or does not answer, it will be skipped and redialled later up to 5 times.

To cancel broadcast transmission

1.Press {STOP} while “BROADCASTING” is displayed.

L The display will show “SEND CANCELLED?”.

2.Press {SET}.

1Insert the document FACE DOWN.

2If necessary, press {A} or {B} repeatedly to select the desired resolution (page 27).

3Press {BROADCAST}.

LThe document will be fed into the unit and

scanned into memory. The unit will then send the data to each party, calling each number sequentially.

LAfter transmission, the stored document will be erased from memory automatically, and the unit will automatically print the transmission result (Broadcast sending report).
