Intercom

A 2-way intercom is possible between the handset and the base unit.

Paging the base unit from the handset

1 Handset:

Press (HOLD/INTERCOM/CLEAR). Talk to the paged party after the beeps.

	•“Intercom” is displayed.	(OFF)
2	Base unit:
	When the other party’s
	voice is heard, answer
3	using the MIC.	MIC
	To end the intercom,	(HOLD/LOCATOR/INTERCOM)
	press (OFF) on the	(HOLD/INTERCOM/CLEAR)
	handset.

OR

Press (HOLD/LOCATOR/INTERCOM) on the base unit.

Paging the handset from the base unit (Handset locator)

Using this feature, you can also locate a misplaced handset.

Cordless Telephone

1	Base unit:
	Press (HOLD/LOCATOR/INTERCOM).
	•The handset beeps for 1 minute
	and displays “Paging Press
	INTERCOM”.
	•To stop paging, press
	(HOLD/LOCATOR/INTERCOM)
	on the base unit.
2	Handset:
	Press
	(HOLD/INTERCOM/CLEAR) to
	answer.	MIC	(OFF)
	•“Intercom” is displayed.
		(HOLD/LOCATOR/INTERCOM)
3	Base unit:	(HOLD/INTERCOM/CLEAR)
	Talk into the MIC.
4	To end the intercom, press (OFF) on the handset.
	OR
	Press (HOLD/LOCATOR/INTERCOM) on the base unit.
•If you do not want to answer the page in step 2, press (OFF) to stop beeping.
