Battery Replacement

If “Recharge” is displayed and/or “ ” flashes after being fully

charged, replace the battery with a new Panasonic N4HKGMA00001 (P-P511) battery. To order, call the accessories telephone number on page 2.

1	Press the notch on the
	handset cover firmly and

slide it as indicated by the arrow.

2	Remove the old battery.
	Insert the new battery into
	the handset as shown,
	matching the correct polarity
	(#). Press the battery down
	until it places into the	1
	compartment ($).

3	Close the cover. Make sure you charge the new battery for about
	15 hours in order to display the battery strength prompt correctly
	(p. 14).

A nickel cadmium battery that is recyclable powers the product you have purchased. At the end of its useful life, under various state and local laws, it is illegal to dispose of this battery into your municipal waste stream.
