From the Handset

If someone else is in the room and you want to listen to the recorded messages privately, you can use the handset.

1 Handset:

Press (FLASH/CALL!WAIT/PLAYBACK).

•The number of new messages is heard on the handset.

•“Remote operation” will be displayed.

2 Base unit:

To listen to messages:

Press (MESSAGE!PLAYBACK/SLOW!TALK).

When you have new messages:

the unit announces the number of new messages and only new messages are played back.

When you have no new messages:

the unit announces “No new

messages. All message playback”

and plays back all messages.

When you have no messages:

the unit announces “No messages”.

•The messages will be heard on the handset.

•(MESSAGE!PLAYBACK/SLOW!TALK), (REPEAT), (SKIP) and (STOP)*

can also be used during playback (p. 62).

3	When ﬁnished, press (FLASH/CALL!WAIT/PLAYBACK) or place the
	handset on the base unit.

•You can also listen to messages without using the base unit. See page 72.

*When you press (STOP) during playback, operation is stopped.

To resume the playback, press (MESSAGE!PLAYBACK/SLOW!TALK) within 15 seconds, or the voice menu will start (p. 72).
