Making calls

Using the handset

1Lift the handset and dial the phone number.

R To correct a digit, press MCLEARN.

2Press M N or MCALLN.

3When you finish talking, press

MOFFN or place the handset on the base unit or charger.

Using the speakerphone

1Dial the phone number and press M N.

R Speak alternately with the other party.

2When you finish talking, press

MOFFN.

Note:

R For best performance, use the speakerphone in a quiet environment.

R To switch back to the receiver, press M N/M N.

Adjusting the receiver or speaker volume

Press MDN or MCN repeatedly while talking.

Making a call using the redial list

The last 5 phone numbers dialed are stored in the redial list (each 48 digits max.).

1MREDIALN or MEN REDIAL

R If there is a new message in the voice mail or answering system, MREDIALN is not displayed.

2MbN: Select the desired phone number.

Using the base unit

You can make calls with the base unit after storing phone number in speed dial key (page 25).

1Press the speed dial key (MAN to MCN).

2When the other party answers, speak into the microphone.

R Speak alternately with the other party.

3When you finish talking, press

MSP-PHONEN.

Note:

R For best performance, use the speakerphone in a quiet environment.

R While on a call, you can switch from the base unit to the handset:

Press MN on the handset, then press MSP-PHONEN on the base unit with the call sharing mode on (page 29).

If the handset is on the base unit, simply lift it.
