Making cellular calls

Important:

R Only 1 cellular line can be used at a time. R Before making calls, confirm that the

corresponding CELL indicator on the base unit lights up (page 15).

1Lift the handset and dial the phone number. R To correct a digit, press MCLEARN.

2MCELLN

R The unit starts dialing when:

only 1 cellular phone is paired.

a specific line is set to make cellular calls (page 20).

Go to step 4.

3MbN: Select the desired cellular phone. a

MSELECTN

4When you finish talking, press MOFFN or place the handset on the base unit or charger.

Note:

R To switch to the speaker, press MZN.

To switch back to the receiver, press MZN/MN.

Adjusting the receiver or speaker volume

Press MDN or MCN repeatedly while talking.

Making a cellular call using the redial list

The last 5 phone numbers dialed are stored in the redial list (each 48 digits max.).

2MbN: Select the desired phone number.

R The unit starts dialing when:

Making landline calls

1Lift the handset and dial the phone number. R To correct a digit, press MCLEARN.

R An available line is automatically selected. To change the line selection mode, see page 17.

R You can also select the line manually by pressing ML1N or ML2N.

3When you finish talking, press MOFFN or place the handset on the base unit or charger.

Note:

R The LINE 1 indicator or LINE 2 indicator on the base unit lights up while using the handset.

Using the speakerphone

1Dial the phone number and press MZN.

2 When you finish talking, press MOFFN.

Note:

RTo switch back to the receiver, press MZN/MN.

Making a call using the redial list

The last 5 phone numbers dialed are stored in the redial list (each 48 digits max.).

Pause (for PBX/long distance service users)

A pause is sometimes required when making calls using a PBX or long distance service. When storing a calling card access number and/or PIN in the phonebook, a pause is also needed

(page 34).

Example: If you need to dial the line access number “9” when making outside calls with a PBX:

19 a MDN (Pause)

2Dial the phone number. a MN

Note:

R A 3.5 second pause is inserted each time MDN (Pause) is pressed.
