recommend adding * (TONE) to the beginning of phone numbers you wish to chain dial (page 32).

Speed dial

You can store phone numbers to the base unit and handset separately:

–Handset: up to 10 entries.

–Base unit: up to 20 entries.

Adding phone numbers to speed dial keys

Handset

You can assign 1 phone number to each of the dial keys (1 to 9, or 0 (10)).

n By entering phone numbers:

1Press and hold the desired speed dial key (1 to 9, or 0 (10)). a MADDN

2MbN: “Manual” a MSELECTN

3Enter the party’s name (16 characters max.). a MOKN

4Enter the party’s phone number (24 digits max.). a MOKN

5MSELECTN a MOFFN

n From the phonebook:

1Press and hold the desired speed dial key (1 to 9, or 0 (10)). a MADDN

2MbN: “Phonebook” a MSELECTN

3 MbN: Select the desired entry.

4 MSAVEN a MOFFN

Base unit

n By entering phone numbers:

1MSPEED DIALN

2MbN: Select the desired speed dial key. a

MEDITN

3Enter the party’s name (16 characters max.). a MOKN

4Enter the party’s phone number (24 digits max.). a MOKN

5MSELECTN a MEXITN

n From the phonebook:

Note for handset and base unit:

R If you edit a phonebook entry which is assigned

to a speed dial key, the edited entry does not transfer to the speed dial key.

Note for base unit:

R You can also select the desired entry as follows:

–1 to 10: Press and hold the desired speed dial key (1 to 9, or 0 (10)).

–1 to 20: Press MSPEED DIALN and then enter the desired speed dial key (1 to 20).
