Wall-Mounting Construction

■Installing the Wall-Mounting Fixtures

1	Ensure that the wall is strong enough to support the unit.
	For UB-5838C: 1,373 N [140 kgf (309 lbf)]
	For UB-5338C: 1,275 N [130 kgf (287 lbf)]
2 Using the measuring tape and level, mark the 8 locations to insert the screws.
		UB-5838C: 1,927 mm (6' 3 7/8" )
		UB-5338C: 1,565 mm (5' 1 5/8" )
	35.5 mm (1 25/64" )	23 mm	35.5 mm (1 25/64" )
86 mm (3 25/64" )		(29/32" )	86 mm (3 25/64" )
			1,009.5 mm (3' 3 3/4" )
	50 mm (1 31/32" )		50 mm (1 31/32" )
			11.5 mm (29/64" )

432 mm (1' 5 1/64" )

Note

•Note the difference in the hole position for UB-5838C and UB-5338C.

•Make sure that the position of the holes are level and perpendicular to each other (i.e., the unit will not be crooked).

•The lateral tolerance of the hole position of the wall-mounting fixture is ± 1.5 mm (1/16" ).

3	Drill 8 holes for the wall-mounting fixtures.		Installation
	•	Drill holes that are appropriate for the screws you are using.
