13.1.2 Remote Management and NAT
When NAT is enabled:
• Use the WR3000 Wireless Router’s WAN IP address when confi guring from the WAN.
• Use the WR3000 Wireless Router’s LAN IP address when confi guring from the LAN.
13.1.3 System Timeout
There is a system timeout of fi ve minutes (three hundred seconds) for either the console port
or telnet/web/FTP connections. Your WR3000 Wireless Router automatically logs you out if
you do nothing in this timeout period, except when it is continuously updating the status in
menu 24.1 or when sys stdio has been changed on the command line.
13.2 Telnet
You can telnet into the WR3000 Wireless Router to perform remote management.
13.3 Confi guring TELNET
Click ADVANCED and then REMOTE MANAGEMENT to open the TELNET screen, shown on
the next page.
