This chapter shows you how to conﬁ gure the LAN on your WR3000 Wireless Router.

19.1 LAN Setup

This section describes how to conﬁ gure the Ethernet using Menu 3 - LAN Setup. From the

main menu, enter 3 to display menu 3.

Detailed explanation about the LAN Setup screens is given in the next chapter.

19.1.1 General Ethernet Port Filter Setup

This menu allows you to specify ﬁ lter set(s) that you wish to apply to the Ethernet trafﬁ c. You

seldom need to ﬁ lter Ethernet trafﬁ c; however, the ﬁ lter sets may be useful to block certain

packets, reduce trafﬁ c and prevent security breaches.

If you need to deﬁ ne ﬁ lters, please read the Filter Set Conﬁ guration chapter ﬁ rst, then return to

this menu to deﬁ ne the ﬁ lter sets.
