1.4.3 Connecting the WR3000 to Your Computer for Initial Con guration
The rear panel of the WR3000 contains several ports, as described below:
For initial setup, you should have:
The power adapter plugged into the WR3000 as shown, and this adapter plugged into a
surge-protected electrical outlet.
Your Cable or DSL modem’s Ethernet cable plugged into the Internet In port as shown above.
An Ethernet cable plugged into the router port 1 as shown above, and the other end of this cable
plugged into your computer’s Ethernet port.
Now proceed to the next page to begin setting up your WR3000.
