DNS Relay

The DNS Relay webpage contains a configurable list of DNS server IP addresses. The IPLink’s DNS Relay for- wards DNS queries from a client to a pre-defined DNS server and DNS server responses to the client.

You can configure the DNS Relay for two IP addresses. These are for access to primary and secondary DNS servers.

Configuring the DNS Relay

Go to the DNS Relay webpage by following the hyperlink path ‘Configuration Menu’ > Services Configura- tion > DNS Relay. (See figure 64.)

Enter the IP address of the primary DNS server (see figure 65) and click on the Create button. Similarly enter the IP address of the secondary DNS server.
