SCAN SPEED

Scan speed is the degrees per second that the system will pan when in scan mode. Scan speed is adjustable from 1 to 40 degrees per second through the programming menu. The default setting is 25 degrees per second.

PRESET FREEZE FRAME

This feature freezes the scene on the monitor when going to a preset. This allows for smooth transition from one preset scene to another. Preset freeze frame also reduces bandwidth when used with digital network systems such as PelcoNetand guarantees that blanked areas will not be revealed when going to a preset.

There are three preset freeze frame settings:

ON

The image on the screen freezes when a preset is called. When the system

reaches the preset, the image is unfrozen and the preset scene is displayed.

OFF

The image is never frozen.

AUTO (default)

Freeze frame is turned on automatically if window blanking is ON. If window

blanking is OFF, freeze frame is off.
