Getting the Settings Right
Set date and time yourself
1Make sure that Get time from Internetis not selected.
2Select 12 hour (AM/PM)if you want to use this time format. Otherwise the
RC9800i will use the 0-24 hours time format.
3Select a time zone.
4Set the date and time.
5Choose Next.
The RC9800i will now proceed with the setup of rooms and A/V devices.

Next, the RC9800i will prompt you with questions to find out which rooms contain
audio-video equipment that you want to control with the RC9800i, as well as to learn
more about the nature of this equipment.
Set Up Rooms
1To continue, tap Next.
The screen ‘Set Up Rooms’ appears.
2Choose Add.
The screen to add rooms appears.
